We are based out of Hajipur, which is a small place in the Shirur area of Beed district. Our official spot is actually at Digambar Prabhakar’s house. If you know the area near the 414203 pin code, you probably know where that is. We are just a group of local farmers who decided that working together was better than working alone. Farming around here can be pretty tough because of the heat and the water situation, so we formed this producer company to help each other out. It’s not a big corporate office with glass doors or anything like that. It’s just a room where we keep our registers and meet up to talk about the crops. Most of our days are spent out in the fields, not sitting at desks. We deal with whatever is growing this season, mostly grains and local produce. There’s a lot of paperwork to keep track of, which isn’t always fun, but we do our best to stay organized. Sometimes the internet doesn't work well here, so we do things the old-fashioned way. You’ll find us sitting around drinking tea and discussing the market rates or the quality of seeds we got last week. We don’t have a big mission statement or a fancy logo. We just want to make sure the people in Hajipur can get a decent price for their hard work. It’s a simple operation run by people who know what it’s like to work in the sun all day long.
