Our business is set up in Kharghar, over in Navi Mumbai. We have shops 28, 29, and 30 in the Gokuldham Chs Ltd. building, which is on Plot No. 03 in Sector 35 D. It’s a residential area, so we are right under where people live. We handle agro products and do a lot of wholesaling. Having three shop spaces joined together gives us a bit of room to store things, but it still feels crowded when a new shipment comes in. Kharghar is a developing place, so there’s always construction noise nearby. The office part is just a small desk in the corner of one of the shops. We spend most of the day moving crates and checking the stock. It’s a lot of physical work, not just sitting at a computer. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a warehouse feel where things are stacked up high. People come by to pick up bulk orders for their own shops or businesses. We know most of our regulars by name. Sometimes we stay late to finish the inventory when it’s been a busy week. It’s a straightforward operation and we don't try to be something we’re not. We just provide agro goods to whoever needs them in the local area. The neighborhood is nice, and we’ve made some good friends among the other shop owners on the ground floor. It’s just us doing our thing in Sector 35 D every day.
