Miet Engg College

This office is located at A-205 Yash Avenue, which is in Sector 20 of Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. While the main college activities happen elsewhere, this is where we handle a lot of the administrative side of things. Kharghar is a huge area and Sector 20 is always full of people, especially students and commuters. Being in Maharashtra, we deal with the heavy monsoon rains every year, and sometimes the lobby of Yash Avenue gets a bit wet when people come in with their umbrellas. The office space is packed with desks and computers. There are always stacks of forms and student records that need to be processed. It can get a bit chaotic during the admission season when everyone is asking questions at the same time. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that, just what we need to get the job done. The staff here usually brings lunch from home and we eat together when things quiet down for a few minutes. Working in an engineering college environment means there is always someone looking for a technical fix or a document. We just try to keep things organized as best as we can. It’s a lot of routine work, checking dates and making sure the files are in the right place. It is a busy spot but we like being part of the Kharghar community. We just keep the doors open.
