You can find us at 312/B right on the Mumbai Agra Highway in Mangaon. It’s a big building, and being next to the highway means there is a constant sound of trucks and cars zooming past. Inside the college, things are a bit quieter, though the hallways stay pretty busy with students moving between the different classrooms and labs. We spend a lot of time in the laboratories here. There are rows of glass beakers, scales, and all sorts of chemicals that the students use for their practicals. The smell of the lab is something you never really get out of your nose. It’s a serious place because pharmacy requires a lot of focus and reading. The white walls and the tile floors are kept as clean as we can manage, considering how many people walk through every day. Outside, the sun hits the building hard in the afternoons, but we have some trees around the edge of the property that help a little. We have a routine here that follows the academic calendar. It’s not like a shop where you wait for customers; it’s more about the lectures and the experiments. We’ve been here in Mangaon for a while now, and the highway has only gotten busier over time. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, from the library books to the lab equipment, but we just take it one day at a time and keep the place running for the students.
