Indian Oiltanking Design Engineering Ltd is based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400706. We’ve been in this part of India for a good while. This place is known for being a bit more planned out than the main city, which makes getting around a little easier for us. We spend our days working on the engineering side of oil tanks and infrastructure. It’s mostly technical work, so our office is full of computers and large monitors for the design stuff. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's just a group of engineers and support staff. We try to stay focused on the tasks we have. Navi Mumbai has grown a lot and we’ve seen the changes from our windows. The weather gets pretty humid, which can be a bit much, but the office has decent air conditioning. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we just provide the engineering designs that are needed for these big projects. It's a lot of math and checking for errors. We don’t really go out for fancy lunches; usually, we just eat at our desks or find something quick nearby. It’s a straightforward operation here. We just come in, do the design work, and make sure we meet our dates. Sometimes the traffic is heavy near the station, but we manage to get in on time most mornings. It's just a regular office life.
