Our branch of L N T is out in Wadwali, which is a small post in the Mangaon taluka of Raigad district. It’s definitely not the city. We are situated in rural Maharashtra, and the scenery around here is mostly fields and open land. To get here, you have to drive through some winding roads that can get a bit rough during the rainy season. The office is a straightforward building that fits into the local landscape. We don't have any flashy signs or glass facades. It’s mostly about the practical work we do on the ground here in Raigad. Most of the people working at this site are locals or have moved here from nearby towns. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. There’s no air of corporate mystery about what we do. We just handle the tasks assigned to this location, whether it’s coordinating supplies or checking on site progress. Communication can sometimes be a challenge when the weather is bad, but we make do with what we have. It’s a far cry from a Mumbai skyscraper, but it’s where we are every day. We eat our lunch together and talk about things like the local crops or the latest news in the village. It’s just a normal workplace in a quiet part of the state, away from the big city noise.
