Our workshop is at Plot B-38 in Taloja, not far from the main MIDC Road. It’s a typical industrial spot with a lot of big factories around us. We do engineering work, mostly making parts and fixing machinery for other companies. The building is just a big shed with some heavy machines inside. It gets quite loud when the lathes and milling machines are all going at once. We’ve been here since the early days of this industrial zone. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of oil or metal shavings on it. We don’t have a proper office staff, just a few of us who handle the blueprints and the machines. We spend most of our time in greasy overalls. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice shirt. We get our mail at P.O. Box 24 because the local delivery can be a bit spotty sometimes. The road outside gets very muddy when it rains, and the trucks make a mess. We just focus on the work we have on the benches. Usually, we have a few projects going at the same time. We don't do much talking, just get the measurements right and finish the job. It's practical work for people who need things built to last. Sometimes we stay late to finish a piece if a client is in a hurry, but mostly we stick to a regular schedule. It's a tough environment but it's what we know.
