Pollysri Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are over at Plot No-1430 in the village of Dhitpur. This is in the Moil area of Purba Burdwan. Pollysri Farmers Producer Company Limited is a name we chose, but most people just know us as the local group from the village. The office is a small brick building that stays relatively cool during the hot months. We have a few desks and a lot of patience for the bureaucracy that comes with running a company. Most of us have been farming these lands for generations. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because everyone around here already knows who we are. We focus on the practical side of things, like how to transport the harvest without it spoiling or where to find better seeds. There is always someone dropping by with a complaint or a suggestion, and we try to listen to everyone. Life in the 713513 area is mostly about the rhythm of the seasons. When it’s harvest time, the office is usually empty because everyone is out in the fields. When it’s quiet, we sit and catch up on the filing. It’s a slow process sometimes, and we make mistakes with the forms now and then, but we get there in the end.
