Enathpur Mohila Primary Producer Company Limited is a local group in South 24 Parganas. We are based in the village of Enathpur, right near Ramlochanpur. Our office is at Debabrata Halder’s place. It’s a community-driven setup, mainly for the women producers in this area. We don't have a big corporate culture or anything like that. It’s more like a group of neighbors working together. The location is a bit tucked away, but it’s a peaceful spot in the Parganas. We deal with primary production, which means we are right at the start of the process. The office is small and often crowded with people talking at once. We don't have a secretary to answer the phones. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk picks it up. Life in Ramlochanpur is tied to the land and the seasons. We don't have fancy marketing strategies. Our strength comes from the fact that we all know each other and live on the same streets. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing and we have to sit down for a long time to sort it out. We don't mind the extra effort because it’s for our own community. It’s not a perfect business, but it’s ours. We just keep working away at Debabrata’s place, making sure the mohila producers have a voice and a place to handle their business.
