Banaful Farmers Producer Company Limited

Banaful Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Indrapur village. We use Joydeb Mondal’s house as our main address for the business. It’s located in the Kalna area, which is a place with a lot of farming history. We are all local farmers who decided that working together was better than struggling on our own. Our meetings happen right there in the village, often outdoors or in a small room. We don't have any fancy office equipment or a secretary to handle the paperwork. We take turns doing the administrative stuff, even though most of us would rather be working with our hands in the dirt. Being a producer company lets us buy our supplies like seeds and fertilizer in larger quantities, which saves us some money. We also try to sell our harvests together to get a better price from the big buyers. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it’s a bit of a headache to get everyone on the same page. But we’ve known each other for years, so we eventually work things out. We grow different things depending on the season and what we think will sell well. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We aren't looking to expand into some giant firm. We just want to keep our farms going and make sure our families are okay. It’s just us neighbors doing what we’ve always done, just a bit more organized now.
