We have our office in Room No. 01 at Sukumar Kabiraj’s house in Bagnapara. This is in the Kalna area of Purba Burdwan. We are a producer company, which basically means a bunch of us local farmers and makers got together to help each other out. It’s hard to get a fair price when you’re on your own, so we share our resources instead. Our office isn't much to look at, just a simple room where we can sit and talk about our plans. We spend a lot of time discussing things like seed quality and where we can sell our harvests. It’s a lot of talk, but it’s necessary to keep things running smoothly. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want our community in Bagnapara to do a bit better. Sometimes we have to deal with paperwork that feels like it takes forever, but we help each other through it. Most of us are more comfortable in the fields than behind a desk anyway. We keep the atmosphere friendly and informal because we’re all neighbors. If you’re around Kalna, you can find us there most days. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just try to be honest about our work and do the best we can with what we have. It’s a group effort and everyone chips in what they can.
