Zest Coffe Bar

Zest Coffe Bar is tucked away in Ideal Chembers, which is part of the Ideal Colony on Paud Road. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, spanning from Kothrud Shankar Lane Extention over toward Malad West in a way. Most people just know us as the coffee place near the colony. We spend a lot of time behind the counter making sure the machines are clean and the beans are ready. It’s a small space, so it gets warm when the grinders are running all morning. We didn’t design this place to be some high-end lounge, it’s just a bar where you can grab a cup. The chairs aren't the fanciest, but they work for a quick sit-down. Being on Paud Road means there's always traffic and noise outside, but inside we just focus on the brew. Sometimes we forget to change the chalkboard outside, but usually, someone notices. It’s a busy life here in Kothrud. We see students, office workers, and folks just passing through Ideal Chembers. We’ve had a few spills and broken mugs over the months, but that’s part of the business. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us who know how the regulars like their drinks. It’s not perfect, but it’s ours and we like being a part of this community. We just keep the coffee flowing as best as we can every single day.
