It is a local spot where people come to sit for a bit and relax. We have some basic tables and chairs set up so people can talk. It is not one of those trendy places with overpriced drinks and loud music. We just make coffee and let people hang out as long as they want. The neighborhood is pretty lived-in and feels like the real, old Pune. We get a lot of students and folks who live right in the nearby buildings. Sometimes it gets a little loud when everyone is talking at once, but that is the whole conversations part of the name, I guess. The walls have a few things on them, but nothing too fancy or planned out. We keep the machines running and the smell of coffee usually fills up the whole room. It is a small space, so you might have to squeeze in on a busy afternoon. We do not have a big, complicated menu. Just the stuff people actually like to drink. Sanjay is usually around making sure things are not too messy. We like it here in Parvati. It feels like a real community. If the sun is hitting the windows right, it is actually a nice place to sit and waste an hour. We are not trying to change the world, just serving coffee.
