Birdie Cafe Treat

Birdie Cafe Treat is tucked into Jewel Square Mall in Koregaon Park. We are near the Hotel Taj New Diamond side. The mall gets a fair amount of foot traffic, especially on the weekends. We spend most of our time behind the counter making drinks and putting together small plates of food. It is a small cafe, not one of those massive places where you get lost. We have a few tables where people can sit and rest their legs after walking around the shops. The coffee machine is usually humming all day. We start early to get everything cleaned and ready before the first customers arrive. Some people come in just for a quick water or a snack while they wait for their friends. Koregaon Park is a lively area, so there is always something interesting to see outside the window. We do not have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know how everything works. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a large group comes in all at once, but we just take it one order at a time. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time. We are not trying to be a fancy five-star restaurant. We just want to serve some decent food and have a place where people feel okay sitting for twenty minutes. It is a good little spot in a busy part of town and we like it here.
