Dr. Yogesh Vaishampayan has been working here at 294 Shaniwar Peth for quite some time. The building is on Omkareshwar Road, which is one of those classic old parts of the city. It has narrow lanes and a lot of history. Our office is modest and reflects the neighborhood. It’s not a place with high ceilings or modern art on the walls. We have a small waiting area that can get a bit crowded on rainy days. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers on the table for people to read while they wait. The exam room is just through the door, and it’s kept very basic. We focus on the work rather than the decor. Being in Shaniwar Peth means we are close to the river, and you can hear the bells from the temples sometimes. The pace here is a bit different than the newer parts of the city. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who live in the wadas nearby. It’s a community where everyone recognizes each other. We open the doors early in the morning and stay until the last person is seen. There’s no big marketing team here, just us doing our daily rounds and keeping things moving. It’s an honest, local practice that fits right into the street it’s on. We don't use fancy jargon or try to complicate things for anyone who comes to see us here on Omkareshwar Road.
