Dr Yogesh Kumar

Kondhwa is a busy area of Pune, and being located at Legend Palace in Orchid Undri makes for an interesting day. My name is Dr Yogesh Kumar, and this flat, number 105, is where I spend most of my waking hours. The Nidm Road is usually packed with cars and people going to work. It’s a growing part of the city, so there’s always construction noise somewhere nearby. Being in an apartment complex means I see my neighbors all the time. Sometimes we chat in the elevator while I’m heading up to the flat. It’s a bit different running things from a residential building, but it works for me. People find the address okay once they get into the Orchid Undri gate. The room is simple. I’ve got my desk, some books, and the things I need for my practice. I don’t like the cold, clinical feel of big clinics. I’d rather it feel like a place where someone can just sit down and talk for a bit. Pune has a lot of doctors, but I think people come here because it’s quiet once you get inside. I deal with a lot of phone calls and scheduling things on my own. It gets a bit hectic when three people show up at once, but we figure it out somehow. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small practice by yourself in a big city like this.
