Yogesh Juice Centre

If you are near Pune University in Ganeshkhind, you have probably passed by us. We are close to the Shastri Nagar-Yerawada area, which means we get a lot of students and office folks coming through. Yogesh Juice Centre is a small place, mostly just a counter and a few blenders that never seem to stop running. It gets really loud when the machines are all going at once and the heat from the street comes inside. We go through a lot of fruit every day, so there is always someone peeling or chopping something in the back corner. My hands are usually sticky by noon from all the oranges and pineapples. It is hard work, standing on your feet all day, but seeing the students relax for a minute makes it worth it. We do not have a big menu with fancy names, just the regular stuff people like. The floor gets a bit messy during the lunch rush, but we clean it up as soon as there is a break. We have been in this Ganeshkhind spot for a while and the landlord is a decent guy who does not bother us much. We are not looking to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make a decent drink and earn our living. It is a noisy, busy, and sometimes chaotic little shop, but it belongs to us and it works for the neighborhood.
