Mocha

Mocha is located out in Alandi Devachi, which is quite a walk or a short drive from the main parts of Pune. We are in Tapkir Nagar, right in the Haveli Taluka. Alandi is a special place because of all the pilgrims who come to visit the temple, so the vibe here is a bit different from the city. We run Mocha as a place where people can come and take a break. It's not a super fancy cafe like the ones you might see in Koregaon Park. We keep things pretty simple and local. Most of our customers are either people living nearby or visitors who are in town for the day. The area can get really crowded during festivals, and those are our busiest times. We spend those days just trying to keep up with the orders and making sure we don't run out of anything. The rest of the time, it’s a lot more relaxed. The staff here are all local, and we just talk to the customers like neighbors. We don't have a big corporate team telling us how to do things. We just figure out what people like and try to provide that. It’s a small operation in a historic town, and we like the pace of life here. It’s a lot of work during the peak seasons, but we just take it one day at a time.
