Yathri Tours & Travels

Yathri Tours & Travels is based in Ghorpadi, specifically at the I T I Layout in R M V Extension, 2nd Stage, D2/B. It’s a bit of a long address to explain to people on the phone, but we manage. I’ve been working out of this spot for a few years now. The neighborhood is mostly houses and some small shops. We have a couple of SUVs and some smaller cars for city use. I handle the bookings myself and usually one of the drivers helps me with the cleaning. It’s a small operation. I used to work for a bigger transport company but I wanted to do something on my own. It’s harder than I thought, especially keeping up with the car repairs and the rising fuel prices. But I like being in Ghorpadi. The people here are straightforward. We get a lot of calls for airport drops because we aren't too far away. I keep a log of all the trips in a diary on my desk. It’s old fashioned but I can always find what I’m looking for. We don't have a big logo or any uniforms. The drivers just wear what they usually wear. We try to be helpful and get the job done. If someone is happy with the ride, they usually call us again for their next trip. That’s how we’ve kept going all this time without needing to do much else. It's a simple business for simple needs.
