Travel Oceans

We are up on the second floor, room 201, in the Shreeram Shubham building. It’s on Road No. 11/B in Bhairav Nagar. To get here, you have to come off Dhanori Road in Vishrantwadi. The office is small and usually filled with the sound of printers going. We spend the whole day looking at screens, trying to find train tickets or cheap flights for people who walk in. A lot of folks from the neighborhood come by just to ask questions about passports or visas. It gets pretty hectic during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to go away at the same time. The coffee machine in the corner is a bit temperamental, but it gets us through the afternoon slump. We have posters of different places on the walls, though none of us have actually been to half of them. We’re just regular people helping other people get to where they need to go. Sometimes the internet goes down and we just have to sit there and wait, which is frustrating. The traffic outside in Vishrantwadi is always a mess, so we usually hear a lot of horns honking while we work. It’s a decent job and we get to talk to a lot of different people every day. We don't have any fancy brochures, just our computers and some pens that always seem to go missing. It is just us here every day doing our thing.
