Kartik here. I have been doing photography around Amravati for quite a while now. It mostly started out as a hobby, just taking pictures of things I saw while walking around, and eventually, it turned into something more serious. I spend most of my days carrying my gear to different spots around the city. Sometimes it is a small family gathering, other times just an event where someone needs a few shots taken. I do not really have a big fancy office to show off. I usually just work from wherever the job takes me that day. People often ask me why I chose this, and honestly, I just like how a photo can show a little detail you might have missed in person. I try to keep everything very simple. No heavy editing or making people look like they are not themselves in the pictures. If you ever see someone with a tripod near the main roads or in the quieter parts of Amravati, it is probably just me. It is not always easy work, especially when the weather is not helping us out, but I stick with it because it is what I know. I have learned a lot about light and how it hits the old buildings here at different times of the day. It is just me and my camera. I do not use fancy words to describe what I do. I just show up and work. I have lived in this area most of my life.
