World Bag

Our shop is at 1368 inside the Sai Govind Complex which is right in the heart of Sadashiv Peth. If you know the area, you know how tight the lanes can be especially in the afternoons. World Bag has been running from this spot for some time now. It’s a small space but we pack it full of different bags for students and office goers. Most days start with us moving some of the display pieces outside so people walking through the complex can see what we have on hand. It’s not a big corporate showroom or anything like that. It is just a local business where things stay simple. Dealing with zippers and straps all day is what the job involves. Sometimes the lights in the complex flicker a bit but we just keep going. A lot of regulars come from the nearby colleges and offices because they need something to carry their books or laptops. There isn't a big staff, just a couple of us making sure everything is in the right place. The address is pretty easy to find once you get into the Peth. We like being part of this neighborhood because there is always something happening on the street outside. It gets noisy but that is just how it is around here. We just keep our heads down and focus on the bags and the customers.
