Heena Bag

Our workshop is located at Survey Number 75, right in Galli Number 10B in Handewadi Sayyed Nagar, Hadapsar. It is a narrow street and things can get pretty crowded when we have a big shipment of materials coming in. We make all sorts of bags here. You will hear the constant hum of sewing machines from the moment we open until we close in the evening. There are rolls of fabric and piles of zippers everywhere you look. It is a bit of a maze sometimes. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time and they are really good at what they do. We do not have a fancy showroom, just the place where the work happens. Sometimes the dust from the cloth gets on everything and we have to spend time cleaning it up. People from the neighborhood often stop by to see what we are making. It is a loud and busy atmosphere but we like it that way. We focus on the stitching and making sure the handles are attached properly. The heat in Hadapsar can be tough during the summer months but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. It is a simple business run by people who know how to handle a needle and thread. We just keep making bags day after day and stack them up for delivery.
