Worksphere Architects Pvt. Ltd is located at Flat No 12 in Modern Colony, Pune. It’s a quiet residential area, which is nice because it gives us some peace to work on our designs. Our office is basically a converted flat, so it has a very homey feel to it. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, if you knock on the door, one of us will just get up and let you in. We spend a lot of our time on computers, but we still like to use pencils and tracing paper for the initial ideas. There's something about drawing by hand that just feels right. Modern Colony is a good base for us. We end up doing a lot of projects in and around Pune. The work involves a lot of back-and-forth with builders and plumbers. Sometimes things don't go according to the plan, and we have to fix it on the fly. That’s just how construction works. We aren't here to win awards or anything; we just want to make sure the buildings we design are solid and useful. Our team is small and we’ve worked together for a long time. We know each other's habits, which makes the work go smoother. If you’re looking for someone to help with a project, we’re usually around, just doing our thing and trying to get things finished. It's a lot of work but it is okay.
