Our workspace is located in Pune at Flat No C-7, which is in the ‘C’ Wing of the Shantidham Housing Society. We are right near Dongre Hospital, which is usually how people find us if they are visiting for the first time. Working out of a housing society gives the whole place a very local, neighborly feel. It is a bit quieter than being right on a main commercial strip, though the hospital nearby keeps things active. As designers, we spend most of our time at our desks. There are a lot of drawings spread out and various project files stacked up in the corners. The office isn't very large, so we all work pretty close to each other. It’s the kind of place where you can always hear someone’s pen scratching or the sound of the fan overhead. We have been in this spot in Maharashtra for a while and have gotten used to the daily routine of the society. Sometimes we go out for a quick walk near the hospital area just to get some air. We don't have a big reception desk or a fancy lobby. People just knock on the door of C-7 and come on in. It’s an honest way to work, focusing on the designs and making sure the plans are accurate. It is just a small team of us doing our bit every day.
