Suma Shilp

Our office is situated at A Wing, Flat No. 1 in Vishal Park. It’s right in the middle of Vishrantinagar, which is part of the Vitthalwadi area along Sinhagad Road in Pune. Being on the ground floor makes things a lot easier for everyone coming and going. You don’t have to wait for the lift, which is a blessing because that thing can be slow sometimes. Sinhagad Road is always packed with vehicles, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home, but once you turn into Vishal Park, it gets much quieter. Suma Shilp has been at this address for a good while now. We know the security guards and the folks living in the other flats quite well. It’s a residential building mostly, so it doesn't feel like a cold, corporate environment. We have our desks set up in the main rooms and a small space for tea. Sometimes we hear the kids playing outside in the afternoon. It’s just a normal workplace in a normal neighborhood. We like being based in Pune-51. It’s a convenient spot for us, even if the traffic is a bit of a headache during monsoon season when the roads get messy. We just open up the shutters in the morning, get the fans going, and start the day’s work. There is no big mystery to how we run things here. We just show up and do what needs doing.
