Walnut School

You have to go about 3 km from the Warje flyover to find us. We’re located on NDA Road in the Warje area of Pune. It’s a bit of a drive, but it gets you away from the main city congestion. The air feels a little different up here near the hills. Walnut School has a bit of a different name, but it’s a school like any other at the end of the day. We have kids coming in from all over this side of Pune. The building is designed to fit the space we have, and we make use of every corner. The teachers here have a lot on their plates, from planning lessons to keeping an eye on the kids during the bus shifts. It’s quite a walk up the road for some, so the school buses are pretty important for us. We have a lot of green around the area, which is nice compared to the concrete in the city center. The classrooms are usually buzzing with some sort of activity. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the curriculum and making sure the kids are actually learning something. The playground is a bit rocky in places, but the children don't seem to mind when they’re playing. It’s a busy environment where something is always happening, whether it’s a parent-teacher meeting or just a regular Tuesday morning. We just keep things moving along.
