Vmc Instruments

Out here in Ambegaon Budruk, things are a bit more industrial. We are located in the Unique Industrial Estate on R P Road, specifically at 24/2/1. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but it’s where all the making happens. The air inside the unit usually smells like metal and oil. We spend our hours focused on the fine details of the instruments we put together. It is quiet work for the most part, requiring a steady hand and some patience. Our benches are covered in specialized tools that we’ve gathered over the years. Some of them are quite old but they still work better than the new ones. The floor is usually marked up from moving heavy equipment around. We have a small area where we keep the finished pieces boxed up and ready. Outside, the industrial estate is always busy with trucks and other workers moving back and forth. It can get dusty when the wind picks up, so we try to keep the doors shut as much as possible. We take our lunches together usually, just sitting on whatever chairs are free. It isn’t a glamorous job, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished piece of equipment ready to be used. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task in front of us. It’s how we’ve always done things here at Vmc Instruments since we moved into this unit.
