We are located out in Ranjangaon at E/84 in the MIDC area. It’s a bit of a drive for some of us who live further out, near Karegaon village. The plant is quite big because technoforge work needs a lot of space for all the heavy equipment. When the hammers are going, you can feel it in the floor. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the sun beats down on the metal roofs of the industrial zone. We spend most of our time dealing with steel and high-temperature processes. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for long. Most of the staff wears heavy boots and gear all day. The village nearby is where some of the guys grab lunch or a tea if they aren't eating in the canteen. Being in the MIDC means we are surrounded by other big plants, so there’s always trucks coming and going. It’s a very functional place. We don't have a lot of decorations or anything like that. Just the machines, the raw materials, and the finished parts stacked up ready to go out. It gets noisy and the days are long, but that’s just how the forge business is. We’ve been at this spot for a while and everyone knows the routine by heart now. It's just a regular workday for us. We've got our daily targets and we just focus on hitting them and then heading home.
