Union Batteries Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 426/1 on Gokhale Road in Shivajinagar, Pune. This part of Maharashtra is always moving, and our shop is no different. You can usually tell you're close because you might see some old battery casings stacked up or hear the sound of a technician testing a circuit. The air inside has that specific smell of metal and chemicals that you only find in a battery place. We have been here on Gokhale Road for a long time, and the building shows its age a little, but it works for what we need. It's a practical setup with heavy shelves designed to hold the weight of all those lead-acid batteries. People stop by with their cars or inverters, looking for a replacement or wanting us to check if their old battery still has any life left in it. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy stuff around, so it's a bit of a workout every day. The staff is mostly guys who know their way around a voltmeter and don't mind getting their hands a bit dirty. Shivajinagar is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street coming through the front door. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything. We just provide batteries and make sure they are charged up and ready to go. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for us and for our regular customers.
