Down in Wadgaon Bk, specifically near Puja Park, that’s where you will find us at Sn 13/4. It is a bit of a crowded area especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We spend most of our time around the chaat counter, handling the potatoes and the chutneys. The smell of fried sev and tamarind water is pretty much stuck in our clothes at this point. It’s a small space, so we are always bumping into each other while trying to serve the people who stop by for a quick bite. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a few of us working the pans and cleaning the tables. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the entrance if it pours too hard, but we just put a bucket there and keep going. People come in from the park or the nearby houses looking for something spicy to eat. We keep the gas burners going all day and the heat can get a bit much during the summer months. It is mostly about keeping the ingredients fresh and making sure we don't run out of those small crispy puris. Sometimes the delivery guy is late with the curd and we have to wait around, which is quite annoying. It’s just a normal local business trying to keep up with the daily rush in this part of Pune. We just do what we can to keep things moving.
