Our place is over in Bhosari, tucked into Jai Maruthi Nagar at Ashila Niwas. We are quite close to the Bank of Maharashtra, which makes it easy for people to find us if they know the area. Being an industrial cooperative, there’s always a lot of activity going on. You can hear the machines or the sound of metal being moved around throughout the day. It’s a hardworking environment where everyone has their own task to focus on. The building itself is sturdy and built for use rather than looks. We have some old desks in the corner where the paperwork gets done, usually piled high with forms and registers. It’s the kind of place where your boots get a bit dirty just walking from one side to the other. We’ve been part of this industrial patch for a while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There’s a certain rhythm to the day, starting early and winding down only when the sun goes low. We share tea and stories during the breaks, usually leaning against the workshop walls. It’s not a corporate setup with polished floors. It’s a place for people who don’t mind getting their hands a bit greasy to get the job finished. Sometimes the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains hard, but we’ve got buckets for that. It's just honest work in a busy part of the city.
