Vishwakarma Engg Works

If you walk into Vishwakarma Engg Works at Chinchwad Adinath Nagar 64, the first thing you notice is the smell of welding. There is always a blue light flickering in the corner from someone working on a frame. The ground is covered in metal shavings that get stuck in your shoes. We have a few big lathes and drilling machines that have been with us for years. They make a lot of noise, but they still work fine. Adinath Nagar is a quiet enough area until we start the machines up in the morning. We do a lot of custom fabrication and repair work. It is the kind of place where you get grease under your fingernails and it never really comes out. The walls are stained with oil and there are old blueprints pinned up everywhere. We do not have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk up to the main bench. We keep a stash of cold water in a small fridge because it gets hot in here during the summer months. Working with steel is tough on the back, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes we have to redo a piece because it was a millimeter off. That is just how it goes with engineering work. We are not interested in looking polished. We just want the parts to fit together like they are supposed to.
