Our place is in the Narhe Industrial Area, right near Zeal College at Survey No 36/1/1. Being near a college means there’s always a lot of traffic and students walking around, especially during the day. We focus on small tools and bits of engineering that require a steady hand. It’s not like the huge factories you see elsewhere. Our workshop is more compact, filled with specialized equipment for precision work. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or old parts that need to be copied. The lighting has to be just right, so we have plenty of lamps over the benches. It gets pretty hot in Narhe during the summer months, but we just keep the fans on and keep working. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy offices. We have a small desk where we handle the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day taking them apart just to fix a tiny spring. That’s just part of the business. Most of our customers are local manufacturers who need specific tools made. We don't do much shouting about what we do. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay busy until it's time to lock up and head home. It’s a bit cramped with all the metal stock around, but we know exactly where everything is when we need it.
