Our office is tucked away in the Govinda Co-Operative Society, which is at number 302. It is a bit of a funny spot because you have to go behind Hotel Girija to find us, and the address even mentions it twice for some reason. We are right opposite the Telephone Exchange on Karve Road. It’s a busy part of town, so finding a place to park your scooter in the morning can be a real headache. Since we do engineering work, there is always some technical drawing or a part lying around on the desks. The office isn't very large, and it feels more like a home since it is in a residential society. You can hear the neighbors sometimes, and the smell of cooking from the nearby flats drifts in around lunchtime. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now. The furniture is a bit mismatched, mostly stuff we picked up when we started. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to see who it is. We spend most of our hours looking at blueprints or talking on the phone with suppliers. It gets quite dusty with all the traffic on Karve Road, so we are constantly wiping down the tables. It is a plain, hardworking environment where we just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get things done before the day ends.
