Mica Sales And Engineering is right at No. 261 in Budhwar Chowk. We’re directly opposite the Dagduseth Ganpati Temple, so it’s a very busy part of Budhwar Peth. You can hear the bells and the crowds every day. It’s a lively place to have an office. We work in an old building that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. Most of our time is spent looking at blueprints or dealing with sales orders for engineering parts. It’s a lot of technical talk and paperwork. We don't have a big corporate lobby. Instead, you walk right into the middle of where the work happens. There are stacks of catalogs and metal samples all over the place. We’ve been in this spot for years, and we’ve seen the temple crowds grow and the streets change. It’s just us here, a small team that knows the industry inside and out. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture. We just want to get the orders right and make sure the engineering side is solid. When it gets really crowded outside during festival times, we just keep the windows shut and keep working. It’s a good spot to be in, right in the heart of the city. The temple bells across the way act like a clock for us. We know when it’s morning or afternoon just by the sound of the prayers. It gives a nice rhythm to our work day at No. 261.
