Rozi Engineering Works

Our shop, Rozi Engineering Works, is located in the middle of Bhosari. It is a busy industrial area and there is always noise from the other factories nearby. The workshop is not very big, but we have managed to fit all our machines inside. Most days start pretty early with the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of the lathes. There is usually a bit of oil on the floor and our hands are mostly stained black by lunch. We do not have a fancy office for meetings, just a small cabin with a desk that is always covered in papers, old invoices, and oily rags. The air inside the shop stays a bit heavy with the smell of coolant and cut steel. We take our tea breaks outside on the step when the sun is not too hot. Most of us have been working here for years and we know how each machine sounds when it is running right. We don't have a website or any marketing stuff, just the daily work we do for our regular clients. If a machine breaks down, we spend the afternoon trying to fix it ourselves. It is greasy, hard work but it keeps us busy. Bhosari is a crowded place so there are always trucks moving in the lane. We keep our scrap metal in a pile near the back door. It is a normal workshop where things get made.
