If you head over to Chinchwad, specifically at 7th Cross 30-5, you will see Vishal Auto Components. We deal with spare parts for cars and bikes mostly. The shop is filled with the smell of new rubber and metal. We have rows of shelves that go all the way to the top. Finding a specific gear or a brake pad can take a minute if I haven't tidied up lately. Chinchwad is a very busy area with lots of garages nearby, so we get a lot of mechanics coming in throughout the day. My hands are almost always covered in a bit of grease from handling the stock. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy chairs. It’s a practical place for people who need to fix their vehicles. We have a small desk where we do the billing and keep the catalogs. Sometimes the traffic on 7th Cross makes it hard for the delivery trucks to unload. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and counting inventory. We stay open late on weekdays because that's when people realize they need a part for the next morning. It’s just a local business trying to keep things moving. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just open the shutters every morning and see what the day brings. Most of our customers are regulars who live around here.
