Vikas Engineers

We’re over in the S Block of the Bhosari MIDC, specifically at 230/1. It’s a busy industrial patch. Vikas Engineers has been here for a good amount of time now. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of work. We handle various engineering projects, mostly smaller stuff for other local businesses. It’s a lot of metalwork and fixing things that break. The space is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. Most days start with a quick chat and some tea before we get the machines going. We’ve got a small crew of guys who really know their way around a workshop. We aren't into big meetings or corporate talk. We just look at the drawings and get to work. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to stay late to fix it. That’s just the nature of engineering, I suppose. The air is always a bit metallic smelling. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put. We just focus on the task at hand and try not to worry too much about the rest. It’s a solid place to work. My desk is covered in old blueprints and half-empty coffee cups. But somehow, we get everything shipped out on time. That is just how we do things here.
