Vijayalakshmi Chaatwala Private Limited is found at Flat No. 202, S. No. 72/1A 3, in the Westside County Building C. We are a small company that focuses on chaat and snacks. Working out of Westside County is convenient for us. We don't have a big storefront on the main road. Instead, we do a lot of our preparation and business stuff from this flat. Chaat is something everyone loves, but it takes a lot of work to get the chutneys and the crunch right. We spend hours boiling potatoes and chickpeas. The smell of tamarind and spices is always in the air around our place. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to make decent snacks that people enjoy at their parties or in their homes. It’s a family-style environment here. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with all the containers and bags of sev, but we manage. We don't use any corporate jargon or fancy slogans. We just talk about what needs to be cooked today. The building is modern, but our methods are pretty traditional. We use the recipes we grew up with. It’s a lot of manual work, peeling and chopping and mixing. We stay busy and we like it that way. If you are in Building C, you might catch a whiff of what we are making. We just keep it simple and honest.
