Vijay Tours & Travels

Vijay Tours & Travels operates out of Block No 23 in the Mhaskarnis Colony. We are situated near the Vanarai Mitra Mandal, right by the Talegaon Race Course Circle. If you are coming from Old Padra Road, we are opposite the V Bridge Phata. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the directions to people, but once you are here, it’s a nice, open area. We handle travel bookings and car rentals, mostly for people in the surrounding neighborhoods. The office isn't anything special, just a small room with some chairs for guests and a couple of desks for the computers and phones. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking routes on the map. It’s a busy job because people are always going somewhere, whether it’s for a family wedding or just a trip out of town for the weekend. The colony is usually quiet, which is a nice break from the traffic near the race course circle. We don't have a huge fleet of vehicles parked right outside the door, but we keep things moving. Sometimes it’s hectic when three people call at once needing a ride to the airport. Other times, we just sit and wait for the phone to ring while drinking a cup of tea. It’s a local business through and through. We know the roads around here like the back of our hand, especially the shortcuts near the bridge to avoid the heavy traffic.
