Vijay Engineering Works

Vijay Engineering Works is situated in the D-2 Block of MIDC, Chinchwad East, at 54/20. Being in an industrial zone like this means there’s always noise and trucks moving around. Our shop is just like the others nearby, filled with tools, scrap metal, and the sound of drills. We’ve spent a lot of years in this specific spot. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority when there’s work to be finished. We usually have a few different jobs going at the same time. One person might be welding while another is measuring out parts on the bench. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don’t use complicated software for everything; a lot of it is just experience and knowing how the metal behaves. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find us because they’ve heard we do decent work. We just try to be fair and get things finished when we said we would. It's a tough environment sometimes, especially in the summer when the tin roof gets hot. But we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We just keep our tools sharp and our heads down to get through the daily list.
