Vihar Travels

You can find us at Shop No 12 in the Regent Avenue building. We are located in Sector No 26, right by Sambhaji Chowk in Akurdi. It is a pretty active spot, especially with the G Road and Marine Drive area being so close. Our shop is where we sit down and figure out travel plans for anyone who walks in. It is not a very big shop, but it has everything we need to get the job done. We have a few computers and some old calendars on the wall to keep track of the days. Akurdi is a great place to be because there is always something going on at the chowk. We see a lot of commuters and families heading out for trips. I’ve been running Vihar Travels from this specific shop for years now. I like the Regent Avenue building because it is a familiar landmark for everyone around here. We don't have any complicated systems; we just talk to people, find out where they want to go, and see what we can do to help. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones ring too much, but we manage to keep things organized. It’s a very normal office with a lot of papers and the smell of chai often in the air. We are just local people helping other locals get from one place to another. It’s what we do.
