Veeraja Industries

Our place is Shed No 3 in Dangat Vasti, which is part of the Shivane area. We are located at 81/3, right near the Agarwal Godown. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so there are always trucks moving and the sound of machines coming from every direction. At Veeraja Industries, we focus on fabrication and making various industrial parts. The shed is big and open, with a high ceiling to keep it from getting too hot, though it still gets pretty warm in the afternoon. We have welding machines, grinders, and all sorts of metalworking tools scattered around the floor. It’s a dirty job and we usually end the day with grease on our hands and dust on our clothes. We don't have a fancy office space; just a small corner with a desk and a computer where we handle the billing and paperwork. Most of the time we are out on the floor actually making things. We have a small crew of guys who are good with their hands and don't mind the hard work. Sometimes we get a really big order that requires us to work some extra hours, but we just get it done. There’s no big corporate manual here, we just know what needs to be made and we go ahead and make it. It’s a simple, practical way of running things and it has worked for us so far.
