Our school is over at S No 16 Wadachewadi, in the Undri area of Pune. If you know Pune, you know how much Undri has changed lately with all the new buildings and roads. But our little corner in Wadachewadi stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but we like the quiet. The school building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place for classes. We have a small yard where the kids run around during the breaks, and it gets pretty dusty in the summer. The rooms are filled with old-fashioned wooden desks that have seen better days. Our teachers are mostly local people who commute in every day. We spend a lot of time on the daily routine—checking attendance, marking books, and making sure the kids eat their lunch. It’s a lot of work and sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the paperwork. We don't have a big website or anyone to do fancy writing for us. It’s just us teachers and the staff trying to keep things organized. You’ll often find us sitting in the office trying to figure out the schedule for the next week. It’s a very normal, slightly messy life here at the school. We are just a part of the Undri neighborhood, doing what we've been doing for years in the 411060 area. It is a simple place where we focus on the daily tasks of running a school.
