If you are in Shukrawar Peth, you can find us on Ghuma Road. We are directly opposite Pandit Auto. It’s a busy little corner of the world. At Varun Tours & Travels, we spend most of our time trying to make sense of travel routes and booking cars for people. Our office isn't very big. We have a few chairs for customers and a desk that is usually buried under notebooks and receipts. We know the people in this neighborhood well. Sometimes someone will pop in just to ask about the weather or tell us about a trip they took years ago. We don’t have any fancy slogans or a big sales pitch. We just listen to where people want to go and try to help them get there without any trouble. The noise from the auto shop across the street is something we have just learned to live with. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We aren't a huge travel agency with offices everywhere; we are just here in Shukrawar Peth doing our thing. We handle a lot of local trips and some longer ones too. It’s mostly about keeping track of the details so nothing goes wrong. It is simple work but it keeps us on our toes every single day. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the street gets a bit quieter.
