Vaazvan Restaurant

We are located in Bibwewadi, right in the middle of Mahesh Co-Op Housing Society. It is a busy area in Pune and we have been serving food here for a good while. Most of our customers are just the people who live in the society or work nearby. They come in for a quick bite or to take something home for dinner when they are too tired to cook. The kitchen is small and it gets quite hot during the lunch rush, but we manage. We aren’t one of those big chain restaurants with fancy menus. We just make the dishes we know how to make well. My cousin helps out with the seating and I usually handle the billing and some of the prep work in the back. Sometimes we run out of things if the market was short on fresh vegetables that morning, but that is just how it goes. The tables are wooden and simple, and we keep a few fans running to keep the air moving. It gets loud on weekend evenings because families bring their kids. We don't do much advertising. People just see the sign when they walk past or hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the neighborhood here. We stay open until late evening, then we clean up and do it all again.
