Unique Engg Works

Our workshop is at 180 Ghorpade Peth, right across from the Vega Center on Shankar Sheth Road. It's a busy part of town and there is always something going on nearby. We do general engineering work, which basically means we fix things and make metal parts. The shop is full of old machines and the floor is stained with years of oil and grease. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much equipment packed into the space. We handle all sorts of jobs, from small repairs for individuals to larger parts for local businesses. You’ll usually hear the sound of a grinder or a drill coming from our door if you walk by. It’s noisy and dirty work, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. Being opposite Vega Center makes it easy for people to find us, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare on Shankar Sheth Road. We don't have a receptionist or anything; if you come in, you just talk to whoever isn't busy with a machine at that moment. We just take the jobs as they come and try to get them done properly. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of metal, some old tools, and people who know how to use them. It's a simple, honest way to make a living, and we've been part of the Ghorpade Peth neighborhood for quite a while now. We just keep the machines running and handle the daily grind.
