Umesh Tours & Travels

We are located out in the Paud area. It’s a bit quieter here than in the middle of the main city, which we actually like. Umesh Tours & Travels is basically just us and our small fleet of vehicles. We spend a lot of our time on the road driving people around. When we aren't driving, we are sitting in the small office taking bookings on the landline. People call us when they need to go to the airport early or for a long trip out to the hills for a holiday. We know the roads around Paud like the back of our hands because we drive them every day. Our cars aren't brand new luxury models, but we keep them clean and running well for our passengers. Sometimes the phone rings late at night for an early morning pickup at 4 AM. We don't mind that at all. It's just the nature of the travel business. We have a small map on the wall and a big notebook where we write down all the names and dates. It’s not a computerized system with fancy apps. We just use what has always worked for us. Sometimes the heavy rains make the roads difficult or muddy, but we know how to handle the car. We really like talking to the passengers as we go. You hear a lot of interesting stories when you drive for a living. We are just local people providing a way for others to get around the region.
