Our workshop is on the first floor over at S.No. 166 on the Pune Sinhagad Road. We are right by Nanded Phata. If you know the area, you know the traffic can be a bit much at times, but it’s a good spot for us. Ultra Precision Spindles is a small operation compared to some of the giants in the city. We work on spindles, which is very specific and needs a lot of focus and a steady hand. It’s quiet work for the most part, at least compared to a big forging plant or a car factory. We spend our time looking at very small measurements and making sure everything is balanced perfectly. The shop is simple. We have our tools, our testing equipment, and a few desks for the paperwork we have to fill out. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign out front. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years who just drop by. We just get on with the repairs and the manufacturing. Sometimes it takes a while to get a part exactly right, but we don't like to rush things if it means it won't work properly later on. The staff here are mostly technicians who have been doing this for a long time. We like being on Sinhagad Road because it's easy for us to get what we need from other local shops. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just want to make sure the spindles we work on are accurate.
